Senior ASIC Verification Engineer

Job Number - SVE    |    Location - CA

Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in SOC/ASIC verification
  • Strong experience in Ethernet switch verification
  • Functional verification experience with large and complex chips
  • Experience in test methodologies, test plan, regression, directed and random tests and test bench development
  • Knowledge of logic design background is a plus
  • Proficient in Verilog (PLI), C++, Perl
  • Experience with formal verification tools
  • Good knowledge of networking chip verification

Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
  • Perform design verification on various functional blocks
  • Perform design verification on the entire system level
  • Generate test vectors for post-silicon debug
  • This role also requires contribution to verification plans
  • Simulation environment and test code coverage methodology
  • This person will be responsible for the creation and execution of verification plans as part of complex ASIC development projects

  • Must have excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong background in pharmacy claims processing, and the managed care industry
  • Prefer experience working within the PBM market (in particular Medicare Part D and its components) with understanding of pharmacy benefit plan structures, NCPDP standards, HIPAA regulations, and other PBM products and services
  • Must understand or quickly grasp the work flow of pharmacy claim processing or related Med D functions. For example, Enrollment, Drug Utilization Review, Adjudication, Pricing, Payments/Billing, EOB, PDE, FIR, Reprocessing, or other features resident in or working in cooperation with a pharmacy benefit system
  • Strong business knowledge of Pharmacy Benefit Systems and Drug benefit plan administration
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, management and technical associates
  • Ability to write professional quality reports and business correspondence
  • Proficiency with various software products including the Microsoft Office suite products, Word and Visio is required

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, capture, and document business requirements, assumptions, and deliverables related to product enhancement requests in a manner sufficient to allow the technical teams to execute on the project and the business owner/client to sign off on requirements and planned deliverables
  • Embrace the Client' and our client's strategic direction, while maintaining an excellent understanding of The Client' systems to further enhance our relationship with our client base
  • Assist in product development by participating in strategic planning and system design for major product enhancements
  • Meet periodically with product managers, trainers, and other team members to keep updated with new software in development; evaluate requests for enhancements in light of the complete product suite-ensure projects impacting other aspects of Med D or elsewhere within The Client business are considered in the project
  • Participate in internal business owner or external client meetings as necessary and appropriate to identifying business goals and requirements
  • Understand the role of the product(s) in the big picture and provide ideas and recommendations regarding the evolution of the Medicare Part D Product
  • Provide resolution for The Client' external and internal clients by investigation of client requests for enhancements and contributing to solution development efforts
  • Respond to client's questions and influence them appropriately regarding current and potential system inputs, processes, and outputs
  • Manage client expectations and negotiate plans for project approach and delivery time frames
  • Provide final review with requestors of project to ensure business owner/client sign-off on project requirements and deliverables
  • Maintain an ongoing knowledge of the Medicare business and compliance requirements-at THE CLIENT and within our client base. Assist in product implementation and documentation as requested. Prepare periodic status reports for external clients and for support of THE CLIENT development processes
  • Participate in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen business, organizational, and technical knowledge
